Overall, I think that the ATI Pharmacology Practice A online exam went really well for me. I think that having a pharmacology exam in Adult Health Four (gerontological nursing) last week helped me in this exam. I reviewed a lot of the past information I’ve learned such as the main concepts of pharmacology in nursing for that exam. For my own personal reflection, I feel that I have seen my critical thinking skills improve as I’ve gone though nursing school. After completing this exam, I learned that the two categories that I need to work on to prepare for the NCLEX exam include pharmacological and parenteral therapies and physiological adaptation. These are the two main categories that I got wrong for this test. After remediating and reviewing, it’s given me a good idea of topics that I need to study for the NCLEX exam. My goal for the next exam in transitions, ATI Pharmacology Practice B, is to do better than I did on this exam practice A. I am hoping for further improvement in the areas that I didn’t do so well on in this exam.
