There are a million photos online that I could use that spoke nursing. However, nothing represents nursing to me more than my mom. For that reason, I chose a photo of her. Growing up, my mother has always been a huge role model for me. Her kindness surpasses anyone I’ve ever met. While she is a nurse, I believe that she represents everything nursing is. She is smart, quick on her feet, hard working, and most importlanlty she is kind. Nurses are known to be the most trust worthy people. My mother shows love and empathy as she cares for all her patients. Doing this establishes a trust between the caretaker and the patient, and it helps make health care more effective. I hope that in my future I am able to live up to her.
